On the 1st of November 2007 UVP Die Forming (Pty) Ltd, specializing in cutting dies for the printing industry and United Process Engraving (Pty) Ltd, specializing in foiling & embossing blocks for the printing industry, merged to form UVP Products (Pty) Ltd, a UVP Group Company.
    Aggressive capex brought the company into the foreground of technology and saw the purchasing of CNC Engraving equipment, CNC Laser cutting equipment and CNC rule-bending equipment. This automation resulted in a dramatic increase in throughput, reducing complex tooling from days to hours.
    The second half of 2010 saw the merger of UVP Products with Everest Stone cc and then with Bullmark Engineering cc. UVP Products is now the only company in Southern Africa that can manufacture a complete tooling solution for our clients, from the flat sheet print to the narrow web print industries. UVP Products has moved into engineering services, offering repairs and reverse engineering solutions to equipment failure.
    2011 and 2012 will see further capex on CNC equipment to increase throughput on Flexible Cutting plates and boost the CNC engraving department. This investment will see a first in South Africa with regards high speed machining. UVP Products double figure growth rate is set to continue as new income streams come on board and existing markets are solidified.
